Dragon Crest Mountain Viewpoint

Khao Ngon Nak, known to hikers as Dragon Crest Mountain, rises above the coast near Tub Kaek in northern Krabi. A roughly 3.7km trail climbs through forest to a narrow rocky ridge, from which the view opens onto Ao Nang, Nopparat Thara beach and the limestone islands scattered across the Andaman Sea. The hike takes about 1.5 to 2 hours each way and is best started early to avoid the midday heat and afternoon cloud cover that often rolls in.
